Hospitality Included We are a no tipping establishment; hospitality is included in the price of the item you purchase. Our servers make an hourly wage based on their experience and also participate in a revenue share. We look forward to serving you, not for the tip, but because we truly want you to have a great experience here.

NOW HIRING FOR SERVER POSITION

Progressive, and slightly sophisticated full-service restaurant, known for its outstanding food and superlative service, is hiring for a server position.

BowEdison Fine Food & Drink is open for dinner 6 nights/week, and Sunday brunch.

We're looking for a mature, professional, self-motivated, friendly, service-oriented and genuinely nice person to make all of our guests' visits memorable. You must demonstrate hustle, common sense, and pride in consistently exceeding your guests' expectations and building repeat business.

Strong food & beverage knowledge is highly desirable, but if you are awesome in every other regard, we can help you with that. Prior serving experience is also great, but not required. You must work clean, have a strong sense of urgency, be able to prioritize & follow instructions. You must be a team player -- willing to learn, bus tables, polish glasses & clean. Bartending experience is also a plus.

BowEdison will be a non-tipped, revenue-sharing workplace.

Requirements:
- WSLCB MAST Certification and Skagit County Food Handler's Card.
- Available to work nights & weekends.
- Able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.

Compensation: min wage + revenue sharing

We wish to thank everyone for the warm welcome into your community that we have received. We opened on September 22nd 2016 and it has been a whirlwind of meeting new friends. We are committed to serving you our idea of what a great meal is all about; a plate full of thoughtfully prepared flavorful food in an atmosphere that is both casual and sophisticated. BowEdison is the perfect place for a date night, celebration, or simply a great place to go with your family when you really don't feel like cooking.

Marty Bracken

Chef/Owner Marty Bracken recently relocated north from the Seattle area to open up shop here in Bow.  Since 2008, Marty owned and operated her first restaurant, the Agate Pass Café, in beautiful downtown Suquamish, centrally located between Kingston, Bainbridge Island, and Poulsbo on the Kitsap Peninsula.   Prior to that, she spent an entire career involved in food and customer service one way or another, from serving as the Director of Restaurant Operations at the Seattle Art Museum, working as a line cook at the W Hotel in downtown Seattle, as General Manager with Bon Appétit Management Company, and as a Project Manager, Store Manager, and Systems Analyst with that very large coffee company in Seattle.  Born in New York, raised in Detroit, matriculating in Oregon, and finding herself in San Francisco, Marty is happy to now call Bellingham home. 

Marty believes in simple, uncomplicated, delicious food.  At BowEdison, the menu is best described as “eclectic, modern American” cooking, strongly influenced, simply enough, by all the things the Chef likes to eat.  The menu will be small yet sophisticated, with creative, seasonal offerings and highlighting the bounty of our local producers.

BowEdison will offer Dinner Monday through Saturday, as well as Brunch and Dinner on Sundays.  And don't forget our Happy Hour from 3 to 5 every day we are open. We will be closed on Tuesdays.

 

Bridget McShane

General Manager Bridget McShane's varied professional background is rooted in customer service and sales. Her long history of mentoring, training, and managing support staff is going to serve BowEdison, and our customers, well. Her history in the food service industry includes: bussing, hosting, waiting, and bar-tending; from a large chain restaurant, to a family owned and operated restaurant, to a high-end catering establishment. For BowEdison, she believes the highest level of customer service will be the perfect pairing to the excellent food that will be coming from our kitchen to your table.
